The fourth commandment of the ten given to Moses says; "Honour
your Father and your Mother."
This refers in a profound form to our Internal Father or God under whatever
of his many names (Krishna, Allah, Jehovah etc) and to our Divine Mother (Mary,
Isis, Kundalini etc…)
In this way we can understand that our true family is in the spirit and are
those persons that due to their interior longing, gradually find each other
in order to return together to the way of the Father.
This has nothing to do with the carnal connections of the material family that
are due to recurrence and the laws of action and reaction (karma).
Our true family or better said, our true brothers and sisters could be in any
part of the world fighting to awaken their consciousness and discover themselves
and in one form or another working for the benefit of this poor humanity.
As was said by the wise man Nietzche about the free spirits; "They are
the people who leave behind all moral codes, ethics and dogmas etc…
those that are called rebel souls."
Each creature in the universe is a free being that only has to fulfill the law
of the Father, which is LOVE.
True Love is very different to the attachment that we have for those we call
our loved ones - our carnal family. Logically our parents and carnal brothers/sisters
have a role in our existence and our process as children until maturity but
when we become consciousness about the feelings and reasons of existence then
we become aware of the necessity to climb to the heights, breaking ties and
chains that attach us to the material world.
All human beings have their destinies marked by the laws of karma but there
are people that do not have sufficient will to break with this destiny or
are content to conform to their material and empty existence; but if within
us our Divine spark arises and calls us to return to the spiritual world, the
path of the Father then we should follow this call and break our karmic connections
and follow only the light of the Father. In this way we begin little by little
to find our true family.
Many people think that this is an egotistical philosophy but the reality is
one, nobody saves anyone, each one with his or her own force gains the merits
to participate in the work of salvation.
As part of this process there are tests and those that we call our old friends
and material families will go against us and put impediments in our way to block
our path. We should not be irresponsible, for our real responsibility is to
help and to orientate our fellows and so we can call these persons to the spiritual
life but if they don't want it then we will not detain our march. The Master
Jesus Christ gave us a great example when he met with his disciples and apostles
and invited them to follow him to the kingdom of the Father telling them that
all are brothers in spirit.
When we are Fathers and Mothers our responsibility grows and we should understand
that when we have a child that creature is not ours. We are simply vehicles
through which that being arrives in this world, as that being is as free as
we are. Whilst that being passes through childhood its correct development is
our responsibility.
The first thing we need to discover are the attitudes and longings that that
creature brings and help him or her to develop them, not imposing our wishes
for the child because maybe the mission of that child in this existence is very
different to that which we suppose it to be and we may be unconscious of the
will of the Father.
This is an important message for mothers especially.
TO BE MOTHER: To be a mother is a very beautiful job that needs
much care but we should fulfil it the best we can. When we integrate with our
"Pachamama" (Mother Nature) she teaches us, guides us and protects
us and the most beautiful thing about this is that the more she teaches us the
more free we feel. As above so below. In the big we find a reflection of the
small and our best example was given by the Virgin Mother of Jesus who demonstrated
her love for the Divine Master, sacrificing for him until the end because she
knew that the most important thing was that her son completed the mission given
to him by the Father and she let him be free to realize his work.
Let's analyze the "private property" that we make of our children.
We give as an example of a true education, the ancient Indigenous tribes of
South America and those few that still survive today including those groups
of Indigenous spirits that have white bodies such as the Latin American Christian
Shamanism who are working to rescue these values.
Within these Indigenous groups it is not said that only I am the father or mother
of this child, all in the community are fathers and mothers, whatever adult
of the community can give stimulation or discipline whatever child of the community,
all with the sufficient maturity can be parents and guides of the children.
In all there needs to be an order and a discipline and determined persons are
named by virtue of nature and with the indications given through the sacred
plants to be the educators or "Amautas" (teachers) of the children.
These persons will help and guide the children in the material and the spiritual
so that later they can be of service to the community. In other words in order
to enrich the society and not to make the society as it is today; corrupt and
degenerated.
It is painful to realize the great fault there is on the part of women
for this state of things for the mistake of not wanting to carry out
the mission that God has given, which is to be a "true mother" and not
to leave the children to the mercy of false educators who only want to
fill their pockets and unfortunately don't understand anything about
real love.
Who are the most at fault? The children that grow up and for lack of love and
understanding degenerate or the fathers and mothers that gave them the right
to life but not the right to live it as a human being or to enjoy their love
and tenderness?
In the Latin American Christian Shamanism we teach our children to enjoy life,
to fuse with the flowers, the birds, to love the plants, the water and all of
nature and in this way they grow radiating love to all beings but at the same
time they are not ignorant of all that happens in the world. On the contrary
they have a clear vision of life and a longing to collaborate in the search
for solutions to the problems that afflict humanity.
Mothers and the Sacred Plants
When a mother is carrying a child in her womb she is giving
energy to this being and because of this it is not apt for her to make works
of magic with the sacred (psychoactive) plants because for these works a good
capacity of energy is required which in this case is taken up in the womb.
The state of pregnancy is another part of the learning of a woman, it is part
of her "Chaquinan" (path) and it is a part of her life that she lives
with much joy.
When a woman is in the path of shamanism and enters in the stage of being a
mother the sacred plants as helpers continue with her even though in this time
she is not participating in the rituals. The elementals of the plants are present
in her protecting her and the being in her womb.
When the little creature is born the woman needs to pass through 40 days of
recuperation and purification of her body concentrating totally in that which
corresponds with her role of being a mother. After these 40 days she can participate
in these rituals from time to time and with much care because in the path of
shamanism one learns to work with forces and energies that we don't know everything
about and a baby in its state of complete innocence can be affected by those
forces.
This remains important during all the time that she gives milk (approx. one
year). After this the woman can begin to return little by little to her apprenticeship
as a priestess of the mysteries of nature and as we said before guiding and
helping the new being to discover its true mission in life.
